Endurance Athletes

Endurance training and racing requires quite a commitment from athletes ... the commitment is for time and money ... they put up with pain, they eat for the event and buy supplements that cost a bundle ... their equipment is specialized to their events (shoes, high performance clothing, bikes, skis, wet suit, heart monitor, exercise equipment, etc., etc.) Some of the athletes are in the professional ranks, but most are age-groupers. Why do the age-groupers do it?

I think for me the kind of sports i like is bike racing...but since i have a family now all that sports thing is not in me anymore. but if ever i get that chance i would like to do hiking that would help me lose the weight.... thanks for visitng

What Your Hair Says About You!

When you know it's time to change your style, we bet it's because of how you're feeling ... and don't tell me that that the shaved look in the military doesn't have as much or more to do with fitting in, and it does with functionality. How important is our hair? Do a search for 'hair' in Bing.com (Microsoft's new search engine) and you'll be loaded with 249 million pages ... search for 'shoes' and you'll only get 152 million pages ... it ain't scientific, but it sure is suggestive.

for me...i like the way my hair is..i would love to change the look of my hair and maybe get me an hair stylist but right now i dont think i can afford it. anyway happy conversing to all the dneero members.. i got paid by this website and thank you so much..

Tattoos ... Unsavory or Main Stream?

Emerging from their often unsavoury reputation of the recent past, tattoos have gained increasing prominence in the past decade. Life magazine estimated in 1936 that 10 million Americans, or approximately 6% of the population had at least one tattoo. A Harris Poll, done in 2003, nearly triples those numbers and estimates that 16% of Americans now have one or more tattoos. According to a 2006 survey by the Pew Research Center, thirty-six percent of those ages 18 to 25, and 40 percent of those ages 26 to 40, have at least one tattoo.

i dont like tattoo..for me its a sin..

Watch Out, Here Comes The Jury!!

Madonna's done it, Steve Carrell's done it, Brad Pitt's done it, J. Lo's done it, Harrison Ford's done it ... do you do it? The protection of rights and liberties of litigants in courts is largely achieved through the teamwork of judge and jury. That's us - The Jury.

i have'nt been in a jury duty and if just incase they choose me i would gladly do it..

Memorial Day

In U.S. we remember those that have fought for our freedem ... we don't take freedom lightly, but sometimes we take those defenders of freedom for granted ... jeez, they're there, it's a job, do your thing, let me do my thing ... not quite that easy ... let's not forget that they also fought alongside our friends in many other nations to preserve a peacefully, free way of life for others, worldwide

me and hubby celebrate memorial day in our house.because it is also hubby's younger brother's birthday who past away long time ago..he still misses his brother. also i want to say thank you for dneero.

Our Trip to Grand Canyon

Im back...i know i havnt blog for a while... its because me and hubby decide to plan a trip to arizona to see his mom and sister. we stayed there for a week to help sister taking care of mom. but then hubby on the other side decide plan a trip to see the grand canyon which is a 5 hour drive from tucson.

the whole trip was a good experience so far even though its hot and dry but i enjoyed the time being there.. i was able to see phoenix arizona.

anyway Grand Canyon is a very spectacular place to visit. we went camping for 4 days coz hotels over there are wayyyyy too expensive. but camping is not too bad.. we brought us complete stuff for camping so we wont freeze during the night. i had a good time being there so does little robert.

theres a whole lot to see in grand canyon..one day is not enough thats why we stayed there for 4 days. anyway here is little robert as Mr Winnie
